King Sisupala
One hundred years after the Gugerates were annululated Provincial Kings emerged at will from place to place. Many Provencal Kings ruled with splendor like stones which had been strewn when the crystal called the Sun Race burst.
From the city of Matota which emerged alongside the river Nilwala and by the side of the sea in Ruhuna the powerful Asura King Sisupala united the whole country and again.
During this time a Gujerati came once again from abroad and begun devastating Pihitirata (Rajarata) oppressing the people of the North.
King Sisupala himself went to the North with the Ruhuna Forces and killed the Gujarati leader.
Thus ends the fourteenth canto which relates the onslaughts of the enemy from Gujerat that took place during the reigns of Andaka and Sisupala.
