The Linege of Hayagiv
King Hayagiv ruled the country holding 32 Anniversary celebrations of his coronation and passed away being desirous of going to heaven.
Hayagiv’s son Yasas reigned for 45 years from Kataragama after having ascended the throne with much fame.
Yasas’ son Devindu who was like unto a God became the King of Kataragama and reigned for 28 years.
Lakvijaya, the son of Deviňdu gained control of the whole of Lanka from the victorious ground of Kataragama and reigned like Sakra.
Thus ends the seventh canto which relates the story of the rice of King Hayagiv four thousand seven hundred and ninety three years after King Bal Junior and the fourth generation of that king up to King Lak Vijaya
